VIEWING AND COPYING IMAGES INSIDE THE BROWSER
Double-click on the Browser icon to load the browser interface. When loaded, you can click on Browse Library to view the images one by one or Search Library for a more specific search using keywords and product category. Use the on-screen buttons inside the browser to help you navigate.
To search, enter a keyword or select one from the pop-up menu, then click on Search. If you don’t find any images to match your request, select Modify Search and broaden your search by selecting fewer keywords.
Your search results will be displayed on the Search Results screen. Here you can view thumbnail images with the full description of the product and part number of the images, view a larger version of the image, and save the image to your desktop. While viewing a larger version of the image, you can click and drag your mouse to see the full image when necessary. If you have any trouble viewing a larger version of the image, you may not have enough memory available. You can save the image to your desktop and open the image outside the browser. From the Search Results screen, you can also print the results directly to your laser printer.
For more detailed search instructions, check out the on-line Search Tips.
FINDING AND COPYING IMAGES OUTSIDE THE BROWSER
Each image is identified by a part number. An image catalog is provided on the CD which can be viewed using Adobe™ Acrobat™. The Acrobat reader can be installed from the CD if it is not on your computer. Once you have chosen the image to use, you can locate the desired resolution in the High, Medium, or Low folders. Simply match the identification number you saw in the browser or in the catalog to the file name in the folder and drag the file to your desktop.
ABOUT THESE IMAGE FILES
Each image is available in three resolutions, as follows:
• High (JPEG format, CMYK) - Ideal for brochures, flyers, and four-color printed pieces.
• Medium (JPEG format, RGB) - Perfect for on-screen use and printing to laser or ink-jet printers.
• Low (PICT format, RGB) - Use for on-screen previews and thumbnails.
Use your favorite high-end photo-imaging application, such as Adobe Photoshop, to view and manipulate the images.
Depending on how you use the Medium and Low resolution images, you may need to convert them to CMYK for printing. Consult your application manual or a printing professional for more information.
QUICKTIME 2.5
You will need QuickTime 2.5 installed on your computer in order to view the High resolution images. QuickTime 2.5 can be installed from the CD if it is not on your computer.
